Gilbert O'Sullivan to Forum Scene – an evening with one of pop history's greatest songwriters
On Tuesday 27 April the Irish pop legend Gilbert O'Sullivan comes to Forum Scene. The concert is part of Bergen Live Sessions spring 2027, and audiences will get to hear both new songs and timeless classics.
For over five decades Gilbert O'Sullivan has established himself as one of pop music's most distinctive songwriters. Now he comes to Bergen for an intimate and atmospheric concert, together with a guitarist.
Audiences can look forward to both new material and well-known favourites such as Alone Again (Naturally), Clair, Get Down and Nothing Rhymed.
O'Sullivan had his big breakthrough with Nothing Rhymed in 1970. Two years later Alone Again (Naturally) topped the American charts for six weeks and earned him three Grammy nominations. Since then he has toured the world and cemented his place in pop history.
In 2024 he released Songbook, with new and stripped-back versions of some of his greatest songs from the last 55 years.
At Forum Scene audiences get to experience Gilbert O'Sullivan up close, in an intimate format where the songs take centre stage. An evening for both long-time fans and new listeners.
