Gladmat is Norway’s largest food festival and one of the highlights of summer in the Stavanger region. For four days, Stavanger city centre comes alive with food experiences, exhibitors and activities for all ages. Around the harbour, you can meet local food producers, restaurants and other exhibitors serving everything from local produce and small dishes to street food and flavours from around the world. The festival also extends to other parts of the city centre, including Fargegata, Pedersgata and Stavanger East.
Gladmat offers much more than food from the festival stalls. The programme includes cooking shows, activities, events at local restaurants and experiences especially for children and families. The festival area is free to visit, while some individual events require a separate ticket.
Gladmat takes place from 23 to 26 June 2027 in Stavanger city centre. The programme will be announced by the organisers as the festival approaches.
