Grottedans is an “early club” – specially created for anyone who wants to go out and dance a little earlier in the evening.
Everyone is, of course, very welcome to come and dance at Grottedans. The main audience is those enjoying their second or third youth, who are no longer quite ready to stay out until 4am before stumbling home exhausted through the darkness.
Grottedans starts at 19:00 and runs until 23:00. Four wonderful hours of dancing, smiling and laughing as much as possible. When Grottedans ends, the night is still young enough to choose between heading home to the babysitter or carrying on into town.
The music at Grottedans is familiar and packed with irresistible beats. Expect old and new favourites, from 70s disco and 80s bangers to 90s hip hop and house, modern hits, Latin, Afro and Balkan beats.
DJ 99 – Guttorm Andreasen is the DJ and organiser behind Grottedans. Guttorm has been DJing since 1979 and has played thousands of gigs at clubs and festivals throughout Norway and in many parts of the world, from London to Barcelona and beyond.
Many will know Guttorm from his numerous music and DJ programmes on NRK TV and radio, including P3, P13 and P2.
