Grottedans is an “early club,” specially designed for those who want to go out and dance a little earlier in the evening.
Everyone is, of course, very warmly welcome to come and dance at Grottedans. The main target group is those enjoying their second or third youth, who are no longer quite ready to stay out until 4 a.m. and stagger home exhausted in the dark. Grottedans starts at 19:00 and lasts until 23:00. You dance, smile, and laugh as much as you can for four wonderful hours. When Grottedans is over, the night is still young enough, and you can choose whether to go home to the babysitter or continue your night out.
The music at Grottedans is familiar and full of wonderful drums. The playlist includes both new and old music, from 1970s disco to 1980s bangers, 1990s hip hop and house, modern hits, Latino, Afro, and Balkan beats.
DJ 99, Guttorm Andreasen, is the DJ and organizer of Grottedans. Guttorm has been a DJ since 1979 and has played thousands of gigs at clubs and festivals throughout Norway and in quite a few places abroad, from London to Barcelona and beyond. Many people know Guttorm from his numerous music and DJ programs on NRK television and radio, including P3, P13, and P2.
