This year marks 50 years since the film "Reisen til julestjernen" was released. The 1976 film, in which Hanne Krogh played the lead role as Sonja, quickly became a Norwegian Christmas classic.
The music for the film was by Egil Monn-Iversen, who among other things wrote «Sonjas sang til julestjernen» with lyrics by Axel Helgeland.
