HANNE’S CHRISTMAS STARS
Powerful solo performances – dazzling duets – spectacular ensemble numbers.
This Christmas, Hanne Krogh opens the door to a new musical dream.
She wants to give audiences the purest, most beautiful and most magnificent Christmas experience by bringing together three of Norway’s finest singers, each with a distinctive voice, a unique style and an impressive musical background.
Markus Bjørlykke is a magician with his voice and opera’s latest rising star. He is a singer who combines intimacy and warmth with intensity and tremendous vocal power. Markus is an artist you need to experience before he disappears off to one of Europe’s great opera houses.
Anna-Lisa Kumoji is Norway’s queen of gospel, with a powerful voice and stage presence that have captivated audiences both in Norway and internationally. Few singers can fill a church with the spirit of Christmas quite like Anna-Lisa!
André Søfteland trained in London and has played leading roles in some of the best-known musicals in both New York and Norway. With a voice combining power, warmth and musicality, he offers audiences experiences rarely heard outside the world’s greatest musical theatre stages.
Together, they deliver a musical extravaganza that knows virtually no limits. Opera, gospel and musical theatre come together in powerful solo performances, dazzling duets and spectacular ensemble numbers – all woven together by Hanne Krogh’s legendary voice and her warm, engaging and intelligent humour.
This Christmas marks 50 years since Journey to the Christmas Star first lit up cinema screens and “Sonja’s Song” found its way into our hearts. It still shines as brightly and beautifully as ever, sung by “Sonja” herself: Hanne Krogh.
Four voices – one evening – a beautiful church filled with magical Christmas spirit that makes us forget time and place.
