Harald Eide Ellingsen – Explains Himself!
A stand-up comedy show written and performed by Harald Eide Ellingsen
Directed by: Hans Morten Hansen
He has been performing on stage for almost 20 years.
Now, at long last, he is stepping into the spotlight completely on his own with his very first solo show.
And he's here to explain himself.
- Why can an ordinary day suddenly become so complicated?
- Why do we get caught up in details that nobody else cares about?
- And why can we never stop once we've started analysing everything?
This is the show for anyone who recognises themselves a little too well!
Over the past year, Harald Eide Ellingsen has become best known as one of the three men behind the popular podcast 3 Menn og en Bobil (3 Men and a Motorhome), alongside Hans Morten Hansen and Arvid Mæland.
In May 2026, you can also see him hosting Hans Morten Hansen's farewell show at DNB Arena!
Ellingsen has 20 years of experience as a comedian, compère and public speaker. He is known for finding the absurdity in everyday situations. With great enthusiasm and a healthy dose of self-deprecating humour, he takes audiences on a journey through life's little and not-so-little moments.
In recent years, he has also made a name for himself in improvisational comedy, including through Improbonanza at Stavangeren and as an active member of Stavanger Impro.
