“Heimført Tour”
Hekla Stålstrenga celebrated 20 years in 2025 and marks the occasion with a new album and tour.
Since 2005, their mix of northern Norwegian folk music, ballads, and acoustic pop has defined Hekla Stålstrenga. With their new album in hand, they bring a cross-section of their repertoire, from the most delicate songs to the roughest folk tunes.
In autumn 2025, the album Heimført was released. “A tribute to northern Norwegian folk music,” the band says about the release, which has received rave reviews. With this album, the band looks back to the roots where it all began while also looking forward. The Heimført tour reflects this: a retrospective of the band’s 20-year history, interspersed with new material from the album.
