Join a magical and slightly spooky journey into Roald Dahl's universe
In a Norwegian coastal town a little girl disappears. It is the terrible witches who have been at work. Witches hate children and will do anything to kill them. Luke's grandmother knows everything about witches, and she senses a witch conspiracy. Luke and his grandmother travel to England on holiday after Luke's parents perish in a mysterious car accident. At the holiday hotel in England where they stay, there is a large congress for combating child abuse. Luke gradually discovers that it is actually the witches who are holding a congress on how to exterminate all children!
Director Nicolas Roeg has done an admirable job of recreating the macabre
