Comedian Veronica Simoné, widely known as Yummymummy, is back with her third one-woman show.
In the final instalment of her trilogy of shows with titles ending in “vis”, she takes a brutally honest look at herself, her life and the relationships that matter most. Since her last show, she has had a low-budget wedding, developed health anxiety, killed a hamster, held her late mother in her arms and undergone cosmetic surgery that almost split her in two. In other words, Veronica Simoné has plenty to confess, acknowledge and come to terms with.
Fortunately, the result is raw, relatable and refreshingly funny. Life rarely goes according to plan, and HELDIGvis (Fortunately), perhaps that is exactly the point.
