This is not just a concert. It is an experience. A musical journey into the heart of Elvis Presley – where faith, power and emotion come together in the music that meant the most to him.
Behind the rock icon was an artist with a deep love of gospel. This was where Elvis found comfort and strength – and it was this music that earned him three Grammy Awards. Now, this legacy is brought to life in a spectacular show combining some of the most powerful gospel classics with timeless songs such as Bridge Over Troubled Water, How Great Thou Art and An American Trilogy.
Taking to the stage is an ensemble of the highest calibre:
The exceptional Paal Flaata – an artist with more than 25 years of recording experience – has a voice that has been described as truly extraordinary. After fronting the critically acclaimed band Midnight Choir and winning a Spellemann Award for Amsterdam Stranded, Flaata has established himself as one of Norway’s most respected and prolific touring solo artists, with 10 albums to his name. He is accompanied by an all-star line-up of musicians led by pianist and producer Gøran Grini.
Alongside him is Bogafjell Gospel Choir – a vibrant and inclusive choir of around 50 singers from the Sandnes region. Established in 2023, the choir brings together people aged 25 to 70 and is known for its passion for singing and strong sense of community. Its repertoire ranges from traditional and contemporary gospel to worship songs, hymns and atmospheric ballads, in both Norwegian and English.
With a foundation of joy in singing, community and faith, the choir performs with genuine enthusiasm and warmth. Through concerts, gospel nights and performances in churches and local communities, they have already established themselves as an inspiring and unifying presence in the region’s music scene. The choir is led by conductor Sonja N. Thingbø.
This is the concert that fills the room with goosebumps, tears and standing ovations.
With more than 200 concerts and nearly 100,000 audience members moved to their core, this year’s tour builds on the success of previous critically acclaimed productions. Audiences return not only for the music, but for the feeling.
