All Things Live Norway presents: «Jag är Carola – en musikalsk unik livsberättelse»
Carola Häggkvist heads out on tour with her debut book «Jag är Carola»
Playing three concerts in Norway!
On the same day as the Swedish superstar turns 60, 8 September, Carola releases her first book, in which she tells the story of her life for the first time.
The last time Carola played in Norway, it was to a packed and ecstatic audience at Unity Arena. This autumn she returns to play three highly exclusive concerts, with the debut book at the centre. Here audiences get to come up close to the stories, events and music that have shaped her into who she is today.
Together with pianist Will Oaks, Carola offers an intimate and personal concert experience, where unexpected songs meet some of her very biggest hits. The tour visits Oslo Konserthus on 10 November, Grieghallen in Bergen on 13 December and Kuppelhallen in Stavanger on 14 December.
For over four decades Carola has been one of Sweden's very biggest stars. Since the sensational breakthrough with «Främling» in 1983 she has become a natural part of Swedish cultural history. Now she opens the doors to a life that has previously only been portrayed by others, and tells her own story about the person behind the artist.
Alongside the book release and the upcoming tour, Carola is also in the spotlight with a documentary film about her life. The film premieres in cinemas on 21 August, after the world premiere at Way Out West.
