Welcome to a festive evening where we mark that Jan Eggum turns 75 years old!
With a full band and invited guests, the songs are lifted into a larger format, and the evening reflects the breadth, distinctiveness, and strength of Eggum's rich song catalog. With guitar, voice, and a solid repertoire, Eggum presents the songs as they were written: direct, honest, and without unnecessary embellishment.
For several decades, he has been a clear voice in the Norwegian song tradition, with precise observations and a sharp eye for both the serious and the everyday. The songs still resonate, regardless of when one first hears them.
Welcome to a celebration evening with Jan Eggum, full band, and guests, straightforward, humorous, thoughtful, and entirely in his spirit.
