Stageway, All Things Live Norway, Acomic Soul presents: Jo Koy – Just Being Koy Tour
Jo Koy is one of the world's biggest stand-up comedians and a global audience favourite. What started with small performances at a coffee bar in Las Vegas has developed into an impressive career with sold-out arenas around the world. With humour drawn from his own family and Filipino background, Koy has created a comedic universe that resonates with audiences across cultures.
He is regularly among the world's ten highest-earning stand-up comedians, according to Pollstar and Billboard, and continues to set audience records at prestigious venues all over the world.
Koy has had great success on Netflix with specials such as Live From Brooklyn, Live From The Los Angeles Forum, Comin' In Hot and Live From Seattle. Live From Brooklyn, filmed at the historic King's Theatre, became a global hit upon its launch in 2024 and was the sixth most watched stand-up special of the year on the platform. He has released a total of seven critically acclaimed specials on Netflix and Comedy Central, and a new special is expected later this year.
Beyond stand-up, Koy has also established himself in film and TV. He played the lead role in the comedy Easter Sunday from Universal Pictures, inspired by his own upbringing and Filipino roots, produced by Amblin Partners. He has also appeared in the Disney film Haunted Mansion, as well as voicing characters in the animated films Monkey King, Leo and The Tiger's Apprentice.
In March 2026 Jo Koy makes comedy history when he – together with Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias – becomes one of the first comedians to sell out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The same year he also receives his place at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre, an honour reserved for some of the entertainment industry's biggest names.
