We celebrate 25 years of Bergen Unge Kammerorkester, and 25 years with Tone Martinsen Birkeland as the driving force!
In autumn 2001 Tone started Bergen Unge Kammerorkester: a place where young musicians in Bergen could play together in a smaller chamber orchestra and get the opportunity to grow and develop, both on an individual level and in ensemble with other musicians. 25 years later "BUKO" is a true success story, with countless concerts and exciting international tours under its belt, a place where many a professional musician has learned their craft during their youth and student years in Bergen.
We thank and celebrate Tone with highlights from a varied 25-year chamber orchestra career, with soloists and works that have followed us through the years, and a reunion with more recent favourites.
Welcome to the celebration!
