The walk begins outside Sølvberget and continues through the city centre, Old Stavanger and Eiganes, before heading east past modern high-rise developments, historic working-class neighbourhoods and the vibrant Pedersgata, finishing at Arneageren.
City Antiquarian Hanne Windsholt explores 900 years of Stavanger's urban development, covering city fires, architecture, conservation, demolition, planning ideals, legislation, social history, and the forces that have shaped the city.
