A group of New Yorkers come together at the free-spirited club Shortbus. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the film attracted considerable attention on its original release because of its explicit sex scenes.
John Cameron Mitchell’s erotic comedy-drama was screened out of competition at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. The film set out to demystify sexuality by portraying it without filters.
