Zum Hauptinhalt

A practical and exploratory workshop examining drag and gender expression, while challenging norms and power structures. Drag as a space for freedom, along with humour and transformation as methods, takes centre stage. Sometimes, narrow-mindedness is best met with vulnerability.

The workshop is led by Sofie Søndervik Sæther. Drawing on experience as a musician and drag artist in the project Deathman, the workshop will explore identity and alter egos through reflection and simple exercises. Participation is entirely optional, and there is no requirement to perform.

A ticket to the workshop also provides entry to the concert with Teddy at 8pm at Tou Scene.

The event is a collaboration between AKKS Stavanger, Skeivå Rogaland Pride and Kapittel.

The event is part of Kapittel – Stavanger International Festival of Literature and Freedom of Expression, taking place from 16–20 September 2026.

More information, the programme and tickets can be found at kapittel.no. At some events at Sølvberget and during the Kapittel festival, photographs and video are taken for documentation and use on social media.
