Quick Women Save the World, the neighbourhood, the family, themselves, something…
The show Quick Women Save the World is a satirical take on what it means to be a modern human being today. We are expected to succeed at work, be present at home, nurture friendships and pursue hobbies – all while being bombarded with advice, notifications and inspiration on how to become the best version of ourselves. We constantly read about people pushing themselves to the point of burnout. Could we achieve even more if we just biohacked a little, or really nailed nose breathing?
– Or is the crash inevitable sooner or later?
These questions are explored with humour, warmth and plenty of self-deprecation in a devising process where physical theatre meets stand-up, song, mime and music.
In 2023, we performed The Time Crunch. Now we are back – and this time Quick Women are going as far as they can to try to save the world. Or the neighbourhood. Or the family. Or at the very least themselves. Or… something.
With sharp writing by Matilde Holdhus and Pernille Håland, and the comic expertise and madness of Marie Kallevik Straume and Amanda Tunsberg. This can only be fun. Welcome!
