Sunday 1 February 2026, one can experience most of the region’s Brass Bands at their very best!
As part of their preparations for the National Championships, Gjallarhornen is hosting a full concert day in Kuppelhallen. Almost all NM-participating Brass Bands in the district will be taking part. As a member of the audience, you are of course welcome to listen to all the bands, or choose your favourite pieces and mingle with friends and acquaintances in the foyer between performances.
Klang av Messing is an event for bands in the Stavanger region. It was established by Musikkorpset Gjallarhorn to promote better opportunities for bands to present music in venues and halls suited to the purpose. Bands are often referred to sports halls, church spaces and community centres with acoustic conditions that do not do justice to either the bands or the audience. The concert day Klang av Messing is held 2–3 times a year, with different participants and musical focuses.
