Following the release of their third album, Konradsen are heading out on a Norwegian tour with a live set that moves between the intimate and the grand. The duo brings a personal and reflective release about the life spent many years chasing – and the longing for something more.
Since 2019, the duo Konradsen, consisting of Jenny Marie Sabel and Eirik Vildgren, have made their mark on the Norwegian indie scene with a distinctive and richly detailed sound. The album Hunt, Gather was produced by Hans Olav Settem and Marit Othilie Thorvik (Beharie, Ea Othilde, Jouska), in collaboration with the duo themselves. Much of the music was also written together with Erlend Vesteraas and Ivar Myrset Asheim, both of whom are an important part of the project.
Konradsen’s music shifts between the romantic, playful and sensitive, with glimpses of reality in the form of recordings from old family videos and conversations with friends, woven together with synthesisers, piano and a nuanced musical landscape. The result is a complex soundscape that feels both weightless and intimate at the same time.
