Poetic spaghetti western in grand CinemaScope format
Charles Bronson with his unforgettable harmonica, Henry Fonda in an uncharacteristic role as cold-blooded killer, and Claudia Cardinale as the beauty all the men revolve around. They all come to the town of Sweetwater, where lawlessness reigns. Hearts will pound and blood will flow!

Once Upon a Time in the West is the first part of Sergio Leone's trilogy about mythical epochs in American history. Followed by A Fistful of Dynamite (1971) and Once Upon a Time in America (1984), the films deal respectively with the industrialisation of America, the Mexican Revolution, and organised crime in the 1920s. As the thematic and production scope of the trilogy suggests, Leone orchestrates a grand epic, with a cinematic eye and elegant choreography rarely seen in the western genre.

Exceptional music by Ennio Morricone (goosebumps).
