Event with a lecture on Georgian drinking culture.

On Tuesday 5 May from 19:00 to 21:00, Natia Kuruna will join us at Stavanger Vinforum. Natia is from Georgia but has lived in Norway since 2002 and runs the wine bar Gvino in Kristiansand.

Georgia is located in the Caucasus, where Asia and Europe meet. Discoveries in the country show that wine was produced there around 8,000 years ago, which is why the region is often referred to as the cradle of wine. There are over 500 unique grape varieties in Georgia that are hardly cultivated elsewhere.

There is an option for a two-course dinner after the event at Gaffel & Karaffel.

Limited number of places.
