Louisiana Avenue live i Molde

"Sweden’s best live band" (LIRA 2019) holds a unique place on the Nordic music scene.

The group draws from New Orleans’ bubbling melting pot of magnificent music, encompassing a diverse range of styles—such as soul, jazz, funk, blues, and boogie-woogie—often woven together. In addition to vibrant stage outfits reminiscent of a Mardi Gras parade, the carnival atmosphere is enhanced by elements like inflatable unicorns, plastic bead necklaces, umbrellas, and several flamboyant costume changes.

With this extraordinary New Orleans gumbo, the band creates a party to which everyone is invited! It is clear that Louisiana Avenue aims to bring that inclusive New Orleans party spirit to our own latitudes.

"Let’s go. Everyone’s invited!"
