Martin Doughty
Born in London in 1965, Martin Ronald Doughty began his musical journey at the age of six. As a 13-year-old he performed with the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain – the start of a remarkable international career built on musical skill, discipline and strong stage presence.
After completing his military service in Germany, Martin studied at the Royal Military Academy of Music, where he graduated with distinction. Here he developed the technical quality that still characterises his performances today.
Today he delights audiences across Europe as a singer, entertainer, trombonist, pianist and composer. He combines an extraordinary vocal power with genuine musicality and vibrant performance.
With an impressive vocal range of four octaves, Martin Doughty is a distinctive popera tenor, with a voice that effortlessly moves between different musical genres, languages and generations. He performs in English, German and Italian, bringing feeling, elegance and versatility to every stage – from intimate private gatherings to larger concerts and special events.
His live performances combine spectacular vocals, keyboard, trombone and warm audience connection. The result is a polished musical experience that both entertains and creates memories.
