A powerful piece of dance and song. In equally huge fascination and frustration, Luisa Fernanda Alfonso embodies and turns around the archetypes of the traditional dances in the classical European ballet, and the popular traditional Mexican music genre Mariachi, with its amorous vocals, strings and brass. Both are characterised for being hyper-dramatic, hyper-virtuous and hyper-gendered. With composer Peter Rubel and an abundance of loudspeakers, Alfonso sings cover of Latin American cheesy oldies, hijacking the dance and song from its legitimacy, legacy and traditions.

Here you can choose between three price levels: 150,– 275,– or 350,–. The idea is simple: You pay what suits you, and together we contribute to a more open and inclusive theatre. The most affordable price level is the guiding price for members of BT Fordel and Scenekortet.
