On 22 July 2011, 77 people were killed, and thousands more continue to live with the consequences of the terrorist attack. Understanding how and why the attack happened requires many pieces of the puzzle, but the human impact can be even harder to comprehend.
This witness conversation brings together two people directly affected by the 22 July terrorist attack. The discussion explores life before, during and after the events of 22 July, followed by an opportunity for questions from the audience. The conversation will be moderated by an educator from the 22 July Centre.
Personal testimonies are invaluable. They not only provide insight into what happened and how terrorism affected individuals and society, but also serve as a reminder that these events took place.
Free admission.
The event is presented by the 22 July Centre and the Wergeland Centre, in collaboration with Ytringsfrihetsbyen Stavanger.
