Norwegian Youth Brass Band brings together young musicians aged 16 to 24 for a ten-day summer course, during which they rehearse a major concert programme. The programme is then presented on a concert tour, which this year visits Oslo, Grimstad, Flekkefjord, Stavanger and Bergen.
The concerts create open cultural events where audiences can experience brass band music of the highest standard, performed by outstanding young musicians from across Norway. Participants work closely with professional musicians, gaining valuable experience and expertise to bring back to their local brass band communities.
