Welcome to a concert evening you will take home with you!
Since 2012 Berit Håpoldøy has been a force to be reckoned with on the Norwegian music scene. She has created, produced and arranged music that hits right in the heart, with roots in americana, folk and country. With her distinctive voice, original songs and stories from a life lived, she invites audiences into a musical landscape filled with stories about life, people and the small moments we often recognise in ourselves.
With thousands of streams on Spotify and countless concerts behind her on the West Coast - whether solo, in duo, or with her own band – Berit has become a crowd favourite.
She has toured with the legend Helge Jordal, created film music for Frode Fimland, and played on stages across Norway. In addition she has written music for well-known names such as Tor Endresen, and leads her own band where she shines with both her own songs and catchy cover versions in Norwegian and English.
Berit's band consists of some of Norway's most experienced musicians. Together they deliver a show that radiates genuine musical joy and musical skill. She has delighted festival audiences at among others Seljord Countryfestival, Hardangersus, and various festivals, and her own country weekend and afternoon country at Madam Felle in Bergen quickly sold out.
This evening you meet Berit as many feel she comes into her own best, namely up close with the audience, present, with music that gives both goosebumps and dancing feet and with songs that stay with you long after the last note.
The concert marks the start of her new solo tour, and Åsane kulturhus is the first stop. For this special evening at Åsane kulturhus she has invited along some musical friends.
Do not miss the chance to experience one of Norway's most raw live artists within americana and country!
Concert starts at 19:00! Welcome to an evening with music that will stay with you!
