Four Poets, Four New Collections
What is happening in Norwegian poetry right now?
The second evening of the Obstfelder Days brings together four poets, each with a new and very different poetry collection:
Finn Øglænd, Eira Søyseth, Mona Høvring and Espen Stueland.
Hailing from Storhaug, Finn Øglænd presents Låglandssongar, published earlier this year. Eira Søyseth is currently presenting Fellesskapsmonsteret, while Mona Høvring joins us with Skogsinteriør med rev og andre dikt. Espen Stueland rounds off the evening with Villkjøttet, in which he explores what he himself describes as documentary poetry.
During the evening, each of the four poets will take to the stage individually to read from their new collection.
Four voices and four different approaches to poetry – from Stavanger and across the wider landscape of contemporary Norwegian poetry.
Featured poets and collections:

- Eira Søyseth – Fellesskapsmonsteret, Cappelen Damm
