Odd Nordstoga is one of the greatest songwriters of his generation. His songs have ever since his breakthrough in 2004 reached into people's hearts and stayed there. He is a song poet and fiddler. He makes us dance, and he makes us cry. With melancholy in one hand and the joy of music in the other, Nordstoga creates songs that touch the life we live. That is how good music should be.
There is never any doubt that this man lives for the encounter with his audience. So it is no surprise that people across the country have taken him to their hearts, at celebrations and at parties alike. A concert with Odd Nordstoga feels like a vitamin injection, whether he stands alone, with a full band, together with guests or lifted by strings.
Odd has become a national provider of music with lasting power, and when he hits the road he has both old treasures and new songs in his bag. Now he is in the spotlight with new, wonderful music. In connection with a brand new album released this autumn, he brings his excellent band to Ole Bull Scene on 20 January.
