Of All Things release a new EP on 6 November and celebrate with a tour of Norway! On 21 November, they arrive at Checkpoint Charlie, bringing Stavanger band Kåte Klør along for a night of rock and full-throttle fun!
Of All Things
Rooted in the noisy spirit of 1990s rock, Of All Things have made their mark with powerful, melodic alternative rock. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Kent, Foals and Sonic Youth, they evoke a sense of nostalgia while remaining firmly grounded in modern alternative rock. Since forming in 2020, the band have established themselves as a promising name on the Norwegian rock scene, renowned for their energetic and intense live performances.
Of All Things have played at industry festivals including Vill Vill Vest, by, Trondheim Calling and Live At Heart in Sweden, as well as embarking on their own headline tour of Norway. In summer 2025, they also appeared on the line-ups of festivals such as Malstrømfestivalen, Rockstream and the inaugural Tundra and Lightning festival at USF Verftet in Bergen.
Kåte Klør
After around ten years, three albums and countless gigs across the country, Kåte Klør are still eager to make some noise. Over the years, this Stavanger-based project has moved between garage rock, punk, fuzzed-out pop and everything that happens when people try to make loud sounds hold together more or less coherently.
Now Kåte Klør return to the stage on 21 November. The past year has marked the beginning of a new chapter, with new music on the way and the band heading into autumn with old songs and fresh plans.
The 21 November show at Checkpoint Charlie is therefore more than just a gig; it is a chance to see where Kåte Klør are right now. For those who have followed the band and seen them live before, the expectations are clear. For those who have not seen them yet, perhaps it is time.
