Welcome to Nygårdsparken and the Pavilion in the upper part of the park.
On Saturday 03.10 and Saturday 24.10 from 12-16 you are invited to "Open Pavilion" where the small Cultural Pavilion and the outdoor area in the upper part of Nygårdsparken are opened up for socializing and self-guided activities for everyone.
Examples of activities:
Outdoor games
(Boccia, boules, pinball, chess, etc.).
Drawing and bead workshop
(Drawing, plants, animals and dinosaurs for a common nature and animal park on the Pavilion's glass facade.
Decorate animal sculptures with beads).
Nature discoveries
(Explore the park nature with a magnifying glass).
Reading
(In our small park library you can read and browse picture books to learn about nature and animals).
Board games
Eat a packed lunch
Relax
Nygårdsparken is an open park where everyone is welcome.
With the concept of "Open Pavilion", the art pilots (kunstpilotene) want to expand the park experience and facilitate meaningful socializing and inclusive low-threshold activities in nature.
