Known for the groundbreaking trio Jøkleba with Jon Balke and Audun Kleive, as well as collaborations with musicians including Marilyn Mazur, Terje Isungset and Kari Bremnes. Throughout his career, Per Jørgensen has received several of the highest honours in Norwegian jazz, including the Buddy Award and the Radka Toneff Memorial Award.
Per Jørgensen will be a guest in the BlåTrå series, hosting an open workshop over two days before giving a concert. The concert will see Jørgensen collaborate with students in an exciting musical encounter. Audiences can look forward to a lively and spontaneous concert experience centred on improvisation, interplay and musical curiosity. A unique evening with one of the most original voices in Norwegian jazz.
