“Norwegian dada punk sounds like the next great thing,” was written about Pushwagnergruppen when they had only released their demos. Two years later, the world’s only dada punk band has released three albums and torn up stages across the country.

The band has also begun to reach beyond Norway’s borders. On their third album, EURODADA, they are joined by world-renowned Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal and Polish-Norwegian rock legend Andrej Nebb of DePress. On previous releases, they have collaborated with Edvard Valberg of Honningbarna.

But Pushwagnergruppen are best known for their intense and chaotic live performances, featuring the ritual destruction of works of art, llamas as bouncers, and unpredictable collaborations with performance artists such as Amir Asgharnejad, Mattias Hellberg and Arnfinn Killingtveit.

“What comes spewing out of this dada machine is so dirty, ragged and countercultural that you can barely bring yourself to touch it — and if you do, you’ll discover that at its core it is as sharp and biting as hell. In short, a rare mosh-pit starter.”
— Mode Steinkjer, culture editor, Dagsavisen

The band consists of Spellemann Award-winning Tor-Arne Vikingstad, aka DA GAMA, on bass (Sløtface, Embla & The Karidotters); Per Åsmund Reymert, aka TAM-TAM, on drums (Dead Movie Animals, Despereaux, THE IV); and Geir Magne Staurland, aka SURREALISMUS, on vocals.

ZERO BATS are a no wave/synthpunk duo from Oslo making experimental gothic music. Inspired by bands such as Suicide, Bauhaus and Wire, ZERO BATS create a link between the post-punk of the 1980s and 1990s and today’s alternative club and underground scene.

A combination of cyclical synthesisers, noisy guitar riffs and abstract lyrics creates a dark, intense and psychedelic soundscape. Through themes such as global warming, alienation, and life in a world dominated by social media and overconsumption, ZERO BATS criticise and satirise contemporary society through their music.
