CHOPS:
When the podcast bros' ten commandments fall short and the PayPal mafia has done enough damage, CHOPS' debut album sees the light of day. In an era marked by low risk and high self-importance, the sautéed noise band from Stavanger marks a necessary break with the safe and predictable. The album from May this year, SCHEMES, is clearly inspired by early 2000s Scandi and punk rock in the wake of Turbonegro and The Hives, but without any attempt to polish the edges. The result is raw, overheated and deliberately unrefined.
GOATMILKER:
From rain-soaked Bergen GOATMILKER is back with a fresh dose of refreshingly unpolished progressive metal. With multi-part vocals, floating psychedelic passages and a proper riff-o-rama, the band's expression is lifted to new heights! Their latest EP, GODS & MONSTERS, is heavier, darker and more experimental than ever before!
DEAD TARGET
Dead Target is self-proclaimed PunkRock'N'Roll from Hardanger – an explosive blend of Scandi rock's big guitars and melodic punk. The band is finally ready with their first full-length record STILL WHILE IT SPINS.
The album draws lines between 90s and 2000s melodic punk and the Scandinavian rock'n'roll tradition, with natural references such as Green Day, Social Distortion, Turbonegro, The Hellacopters and Gluecifer.
After the concerts DJ Sevve Stokholm fires up the records and plays wonderful music into the late hours of the night!
