Nine-year-old Jonna has always dreamed of having a mum. One day, an old, dirty Volvo pulls up outside the orphanage where she lives – and out steps a gorilla. She wants to adopt Jonna, but Jonna is not quite sure. What is it really like to have a big, scruffy and wildly unpredictable gorilla as a mum? And what if the rumours are true – that gorillas eat small children?!
Bring the children and enjoy a fun experience together when Riksteatret visits the cultural centre with the stage adaptation of Frida Nilsson’s surprising, funny and moving children’s book – a warm story about family happiness appearing when it is least expected. No two families are the same.
In the lead role as Jonna is Ina Svenningdal (known from NRK’s Linus i Svingen and Skam) in a playful and colourful production filled with amusing characters and songs that are easy to get stuck in your head.
