«The Final Encore» will be a tribute to a truly unique song catalogue and a live career few can match. Stewart has sold over 250 million records and singles, topped charts on both sides of the Atlantic and played for millions of people around the world. He is inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame both as a solo artist and as a member of Faces, and has received a number of the music industry's greatest honours.
– My dear friends, the time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, «The Final Encore» will definitively be my last tour, says Rod Stewart. – I hope you will join me, so I can thank you in the way I know best: with the music and a proper show.
When Rod Stewart takes over Bergenhus Festning next summer, it will be a rare opportunity to experience one of popular music's greatest voices in historic surroundings.
