The Christmas holidays are the time for leftover ribs, family gatherings and financial denial. In the middle of all this Blakk comes to Kulturhuset in Bergen on 29 December with the new Christmas record "Blakk til jul".
Blakk has for years been described as "the standard bearers of welfare rock", a Bergen satirical rock band with lyrics about financial hardship, money troubles and life in the shadow of ever more expensive electricity bills and ever richer rich people. They play dark, quirky and disillusioned punk rock, with clear kinship to Raga Rockers, Talking Heads, Jokke & Valentinerne and The Clash.
