After performing the musical GREASE for nearly 35,000 people in the major Norwegian cities of Kristiansand, Bergen, Trondheim, and Stavanger in 2024–2025, the production company Musical Norway is once again pulling out all the stops!
This time, it’s the iconic musical film Saturday Night Fever that will take the stage at Norway’s largest venues. The film, starring John Travolta, premiered in 1977 and was the prelude to his next major role — in Grease! The Norwegian stage version will also feature the same leading actor: artist, musician, and TV personality Atle Pettersen. He now steps from playing the college boy Danny in Grease to the disco dancer Tony in Saturday Night Fever.
