Scheen Jazzorkester has a long track record of exciting and critically acclaimed projects, and audiences in Stavanger will have the chance to experience the ensemble performing with Norwegian rising star Thea Grant, who has written a brand-new commissioned work for Scheen Jazzorkester.
The work, with the working title Century Caves, invites audiences into a poetic, raw and mesmerising soundscape, with Grant herself performing as vocalist.
The concert features an expanded and particularly powerful Scheen Jazzorkester, joined by Anna Ueland on synth and vocals, as well as Gard Hvammen on keys.
This promises to be a rare concert experience – beautiful, intense and entirely new.
