In March 2026, Sigrid will release her ninth (!) solo album – and with it, a new tour! Over the past year she has worked extensively with solo acoustic concerts, and is therefore especially looking forward to hitting the road again with the musicians she has collaborated with for many years. Moldestad is known for her storytelling and her warm connection with the audience. Musically, it ranges from the wild to the beautiful. The musicians in the band shape the sound with their backgrounds in various genres: folk-pop, blues, rock and church music. Together they create a musical richness that truly moves you.
The new album is rooted in the nature she comes from, village life, relationships, parenthood, and reflections on the big questions in life. The mountains linger in the background, and her love for the folk music she grew up with is never far away. Together with her now well-established band and collective, she creates musical soundtracks to her stories with energy, humour, and a lump-in-the-throat atmosphere. Playful in genre and familiar to those who have followed Sigrid and the band for a while. The tour begins on 13 March, offering musical storytelling and a strong stage presence. The new songs are presented alongside highlights from her entire career.
