Dogmode are a Bergen-based band whose sound lies somewhere between 60s and 70s psychedelic rock, blues and free jazz. Using a mix of electric and acoustic instruments, they explore the balance between noise and chaos, and rhythmic riffs and beats. The band creates an electric and raw sound, where the ‘guitar sound’ we know from rock and psychedelia is blended with elements of free jazz and atmospheric, improvised soundscapes.

About Skoddajazz
Skoddajazz is a newly launched concert series in Stavanger, focused on promoting original music under the jazz umbrella – music that straddles the boundaries between genres.
Skoddajazz promises fresh concert experiences featuring both local and international performers, and aims to showcase a wide range of styles to suit every taste.
The concert series was initiated and is organised by vocalist Erle Fonneland and drummer Frederic Broadhurst, with the aim of expanding and promoting the jazz scene in Stavanger.
