Since Solveig Slettahjell in 2008 went to the Church of the Nativity to record the since critically acclaimed album "Natt i Betlehem", she has every year given an exclusive number of Christmas concerts. Together with pianist Tord Gustavsen and trumpeter Sjur Miljeteig, Solveig Slettahjell interprets the Christmas songs with an intensity and dedication only she can deliver. Among the repertoire we find "Stille natt", "Deilig er jorden", "Jeg synger julekvad" and "Kling no klokka", but also lesser known Christmas songs such as the traditional American "Sleep Holy Babe" and "Å kunne jeg bare bli barn igjen" by Sigurd Lunde and Karl Marthiniussen.
