Somersault is a Bergen-based band that moves between post-rock, American primitive guitar, singer/songwriter, noise and folk music.
The music is both rough and beautiful, unpredictable and captivating. With down-to-earth lyrics, recognizable fingering and a warm, evocative expression, the band creates music that both touches and surprises.
With inspiration from Robbie Basho, Tortoise, Harry Partch, Caroline and Nick Drake, among others, the audience can expect a concert experience that is quiet in one moment and explosive in the next.
