What Isabel loves most is making people laugh. She just wants to gather everyone and create a hilarious show – and now the audience is warmly welcomed to Isabel Ødegård Skolmen’s very first comedy show on stage, directed by “Bodil.”
But who is Bodil?
Through countless Instagram videos, Isabel has built a limitless universe where she chats unfiltered with her friend “Bodil” on the phone, entertaining hundreds of thousands of viewers. In the short clips, the “friends” discuss everything from awkward dating moments, intimate revelations, and Ben Robert from class getting his hockey hair stuck in Bodil’s mum’s heat pump, to local gossip, funny misunderstandings, and more.
Bodil is Isabel’s friend and alter ego. She has all the confidence Isabel lacks, almost bordering on megalomania, and incredible drive. Now Isabel has handed over control, and with Bodil on the line, she will take the stage at Narvik Kulturhus for a wild journey through a very eventful life. As Isabel often ends up in the eye of the storm – or as Bodil would say, “Where the cat is, the mouse will fall” – the show promises brilliant stories.
Isabel Skolmen, directed by Bodil offers generous doses of storytelling, music, surprises, madness, vulnerability, and nostalgia – all with a twinkle in the eye and good humour. And yes, Bodil is on the line.
