Stavanger Gospel Company's Christmas concerts have become a much-loved tradition. For the past 16 years, the choir, together with guest artists such as Carola, Ole Edvard Antonsen, Ingebjørg Bratland, Halvdan Sivertsen, Anita Skorgan, Svein Tindberg, Sigvart Dagsland, Ole Paus, Heine Totland, Egil Svartdahl, Tomas Sjödin and the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, has given audiences unforgettable experiences.
From grand and spectacular to intimate and minimalist. Laughter and tears. Sold-out concerts with up to 2,600 people have given both audiences and artists a sense of intimacy and an atmosphere you can truly feel. The concerts have become some of the most popular Christmas concerts in the Stavanger region.
This year, the choir will once again hold its Christmas concert at Stavanger Concert Hall, in the Kuppelhallen. And once again, the choir will be joined by wonderful guest artists, who will be announced at a later date.
Stavanger Gospel Company, together with its guests, band and soloists, will create moments and experiences spanning the full range of emotions, with the message of Christmas at the very heart of the concert. The repertoire ranges from traditional Christmas songs to newly written music.
