The comedians
Ole Soo
In recent years, Ole Soo has risen rapidly through the comedy ranks. He remains a familiar face through several projects with VGTV — especially Rikets Roast — as well as Bordtenniskameratene alongside Morten Ramm, the podcast Enkel servering, and Komiker, a talk show in which Ole invites some of the country’s best comedians to discuss stand-up and the highs and lows of the profession. Sharp-tongued, commanding, and packed with reliable punchlines, he began performing stand-up in Bergen in 2010 and is one of the hardest-working comedians in Norway.
Rune Bjerga
One of Rogaland’s most hardworking and popular comedians, Rune sold out DNB Arena in 2017 and has filled Kuppelhallen countless times. He now joins the summer stand-up at Fiskepiren. Expect the walls to shake. Rune always gives 100%, with strong material, quick-fire responses and spot-on impressions. Most recently he has appeared in Bjerga Høyfjellshotell on TV Vest and is also the man behind Lampefeber Produksjoner, which produces many of the region’s most prominent shows.
Javad El Bakali
Javad is the creator behind the Instagram account @utlending.memes, which has more than 200,000 followers. By day he is a touring stand-up comedian, selling out some of the country’s largest venues. In 2022 he won the Humour Award for funniest online comedian, and in 2025 for funniest social media account. Together with artist Pasha Nadjafi, he also hosts the weekly podcast Broren min. In 2022 he made his debut as an author with Dette er nordmenn, a satirical account of his upbringing in Haugenstua and immigrants’ relationship with Norwegian culture.
Andrea Løvland
Andrea is one of the newest breakout stars to take Oslo’s comedy scene and the club stage at Latter by storm. She won Breakthrough of the Year in 2024. Her sharp observations and rapid-fire jokes leave audiences roaring with laughter. Andrea draws on everyday life and turns ordinary moments into brilliant comedy.
Kjetil Melkevik
Kjetil hosts this summer evening’s show. In 2025 he celebrated ten years on stage, marking the occasion with several anniversary performances throughout Stavanger, Sandnes, Haugesund and Bryne. With nearly 1,000 shows behind him in more than 100 towns and villages, he has built a strong body of material that connects with all kinds of audiences. His comedy strikes in every direction, with jokes coming thick and fast, and he is especially skilled at improvising with the crowd.
