In 2027 it is 30 years since Babel Fish released their breakthrough single «Mania». The band was signed to Atlantic Records in New York and achieved international success, particularly in Asia and Spain. In 1998 «Out of the Blue» became the most played song on Norwegian radio. Babel Fish received both Hitawards and a Spellemannpris, and in 2011 the band made a comeback in Melodi Grand Prix with «Depend on Me». In 2026 they began a new, Norwegian-language chapter with among others «Fattern».
With his guitar and distinctive voice Tarjei van Ravens offers Babel Fish songs, personal favourites and his own Norwegian versions of songs most people know in English. Between songs he shares the stories behind the music and anecdotes from a long career as an artist.
