The Dogs // Die Tankstelle

We let frontman Kristopher Schau explain the headline:

Grumpy old men on tour are perhaps the saddest thing you can pay for tickets to see, so we must avoid that at all costs. This time we have therefore tried to max out all the parameters so that people can see a super-smooth band on stage. After a 4-minute workshop, we have landed on the following 3 points.

1. Play on smaller stages
Then our aging senses have a greater chance to see, smell and taste those who have come to see us. So, for example, we would rather do two John Dees than one Rockefeller in Oslo this time. Win-win for everyone involved. We have more fun, and you get to see a real pensioner up close. Well lit and with a microphone in hand.

2. Start the show as early as possible!
Then we will have energy left after the concert to be able to strike up a conversation with people in the merch booth. Another win-win. A little much-needed socialization in the time of alienation, and everyone is in bed by midnight.

3. Even more snacks on the rider.

A double jab in the middle of the chin to the dietary advice, so we can hopefully feel a little "punk" in the autumn of life.

In summary;
We will do everything in our power to become a SMALLER band, not bigger, this time! Growth is for idiots. Or as a wise man from Østfold once said; "Spectrum is for influencers".
On March 20th, The Dogs are back with a new song "Back to Fucking".

On their previous album, The Dogs were stupid enough to release the single "I'm done with fucking, I just wanna dance", which was a lie. The fear of having to dance, something they neither want nor are good at, resulted in the band unfortunately not daring to tour or release albums for well over a year. With "Back to fucking" they want to apologize for this blunder.
